SPICY AND CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST


INGREDIENTS:-

    1. Bread slices - 2

    2. Eggs - 3 or 4 egg white

    3. ¼ medium onion chopped

    4. 1-2 green chili chopped

    5. some corn flakes

    6. chopped coriander

    7. ½ teaspoon black pepper( ground)

    8. salt to taste

    9. olive oil or Pam spray

    10. 2 spoon chopped tomato

    11. 2-3 spoon nonfat milk

    12. 1 spoon corn starch

METHOD:-

Make a batter with eggs, chopped onions, green chili, coriander leaves, black pepper, corn flakes, chopped tomato, milk, corn starch and salt. After that heat a flat pan on stove and grease it with oil or Pam spray. Now take a bread slice and fully dip in batter. Keep it on heated pan. Fry it both side until its looks golden brown. It is ready to serve. Serve it with hot ginger tea to elders and with milk shake to kids. I am sure they will be happy to have it in breakfast.


We can use only egg white instead of full egg for high BP, high cholesterol, and heart patients as egg white is cholesterol free and full of protein which is good for these patients. But, for kids and pregnant women we should use egg with yolk. In growing age and in pregnancy, egg is very healthy.

If you want to eat low calorie food then you can use Pam spray as it is a fat and cholesterol free oil. I also use Pam spray in this recipe and in many others too.
